OMT Group of Companies presence at the 2019 edition of IT&CMA spans all delegates segments - exhibiting, association buying, corporate and MICE buying, media and, speaking contributions.

The Group delivered a total of 68 delegates from across key markets in Asia, making it the largest private, and most diverse delegate group at IT&CMA 2019.

OMT participated with its strategic partner, TTG’s Southeast-Asia.COM and BookASEAN.COM. OMT is committed to provide TTG with a wide offering of travel services, and leveraging on their network to support TTG’s Global Commerce outreach.

On the exhibition floor, together with TTG’s Southeast-Asia.COM and BookASEAN.COM, OMT occupied a 60sqm floor space. Fulfilling a total of 256 business appointments by its seller delegation. Its buying delegation fulfilled almost 900 business appointments throughout the exhibition floor.

IT&CMA was also the platform where, on 24th September 2019, OMT signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CYTT (Changyou Travel Alliance) and their partner IXX.com. Ushering OMT’s entry into the blockchain ecosystem for the travel and incentives market. Lunch was hosted for 50 VIP corporate buyers from China, selected media and staff at the MOU signing ceremony.

Concurrent to the MoU signing and luncheon, OMT also hosted another luncheon, the Europe Cruise Preview, for 50 IT&CMA buyers at the Asia MICE Cruise Conference.

Mr. James Liang of OMT group delivered the presentation at this luncheon. Mr. Liang said: “We are supported by most major cruiser lines in the world, and we are a trusted partner for those who want to develop cruise travel and MICE business”. He added cruise tours are nowadays viewed as exclusive, combining the advantages of group travel, resort package and, individual travel all over the world.

To cap off a fruitful week, OMT hosted a Dinner Cruise for 250 delegates on the last day of the IT&CMA.

Guests were treated to the night time view of the Chao Praya River, good food, live performances, and not so few impromptu performances from fellow delegates.

Dr Ishwarprasad Gilada, AIDS Society of India, who joined us at the cruise added, “I have been a part of IT&CMA for last three years as an Association Buyer cum Speaker, and seen it grown over the years. I found its 2019 edition as much matured, polished and a bit hi-tech with a great value addition from OMT Group. Last year, I had mistaken ASEAN MICE Cruise Conference as being held on-board Cruise! But that desire was fulfilled by the OMT Cruise Dinner this time - Indeed a well perfectly hosted relaxing and memorable event. If this was held a day earlier, OMT may have won many awards at the Sticky Award Ceremony on 26th September!”

OMT Chairman, Mr. James Yeow commented, “OMT seller delegation received more than 50 business inquiries over the past week after IT&CMA. Making this our most successful participation in any trade show”.

“We look forward to continuing and building on our multi-faceted collaboration with TTG, achieving a winwin partnership for everyone, including our clients”.
